Prophetic Voice Title: Waiting on the Lord
We are all inpatient one time or another. We want everything in a microwave minute. That does not work with God. He wants us to have patience and wait. We are tested each day. When a couple finds out the due day the baby is going to come; as the day is near they get anxious, and they wait and wait. Sometimes the baby comes on the due date and sometimes it is early or after the due date. My first child was 3 weeks late. It is not always easy to have patience and wait.
SAINTS: Patience helps us trust God and gives us the endurance to carry on.
“My Dear Children looking on the calendar is not going to have your answer come sooner. Trials and tribulations make you stronger. When you cry for help I take you out of the quick sand and put you on the solid rock. The rock that will not make you slip or fall. The ones that slip are the ones that are not sure if they should wait or not. The ones that fall are the ones that don’t wait. If you become inpatient with Me how do you expect to succeed? You won’t! When you become inpatient it is easy to make wrong decisions. Did you ever say to yourself ‘If only I waited?’ I am sure many of you said that… Some are desperate to find a job. They take the first job that comes along. Did not seek Me for guidance. They are unhappy and sorry that they took the first job that came along. Many do not seek My guidance when they make decisions. Than they wonder what went wrong. What went wrong, is that you do not know how to wait and seek my guidance. I am the one that can open and shut doors. But if you are in a hurry and keep Me on the back burner, and take Me off the burner when I am last resort you will not succeed, says the Lord.”
Psalm 40:1-3 “I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit and despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what He has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.”
Isaiah 30:18-19 “So the Lord must wait for you to come to Him, so He can show you His love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for His help. O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will surely respond to the sound of your cries.”
Romans 8:23-25 “And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as adopted children, including the new bodies He has promised us. We were given hope when we were saved. (If we already have something we don’t have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)”
