Prophetic Voice Title: A god
There is only one true God and that is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There are many that have idols and worship idols. Many worships themselves by putting themselves before God and others. Some have money as their idol. Their money buys the luxury items they want, and brag of what they have.
SAINTS: It is important to only worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus is the eternal God, Creator of everything, and source of life who was with God in the beginning.
“My Dear Children, I am the one that created you. Some of you worship statues curved out of wood. Some worship the love of money. Am I in those things you worship? Of cause not! Could any of those things guide your path that leads to eternal life? Could it bless you beyond your imagination? The only thing it could do is lead you to take the wide path that leads you into destruction? Sadly, for Me to say, but too many want to live in the Now and don’t care about what the future holds for them. My servant Aaron was fed up with the Israelites when his brother Moses went to the mountain to get the Ten Commandments. The people got tired to wait for Moses to come down from the mountain, and took the gold jewelry they were wearing and gave it to Aaron. He made a gold calf. They worshipped the calf. Many today are just like them. Can’t wait for Me to answer your prayers and bless you. So, you go ahead of Me. Where did it get you? Are you satisfied? Do you have contentment? If I am out of your life you will never have peace, because you will not spend eternity with Me says the Lord.”
Hebrews 7:24-25 “But because Jesus lives forever, His priesthood lasts forever. Therefore, He is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through Him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.”
John 1:1-5 “In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through Him, and nothing was created except through Him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and His life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.”
Exodus 20:3-5 “You must not have any other god but Me. You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected-even children in the third and fourth generations on those who reject Me.”
Exodus 32:2-5 “So Aaron said, Take the gold rings, from the ears of your wives and sons and daughters, and bring them to me. All the people took the gold rings from their ears and brought them to Aaron. Then Aaron took the gold, melted it down, and molded it into the shape of a calf. When the people saw it, they exclaimed, O Israel, these are the gods who brought you out of the land of Egypt! Aaron saw how excited the people were, so he built an altar in front of the calf. Then he announced, Tomorrow will be a festival to the Lord!”
Deuteronomy 27:15 “Cursed is anyone who carves or casts an idol and secretly sets it up. These idols, the work of craftsmen, are detestable to the Lord.”
Isaiah 44:9-11 “How foolish are those who manufacture idols. These prized objects are really worthless. The people who worship idols don’t know this, so they are all put to shame. Who but a fool would make his own god-an idol that cannot help him one bit? All who worship idols will be disgraced along with all these craftsmen-mere humans-who claim they can make a god. They may all stand together, but they will stand in terror and shame.”
Isaiah 44:17-20 “Then he takes what’s left and makes his god; a carved idol! He falls down in front of it, worshiping and praying to it. Rescue me! He says. You are my god! Such stupidity and ignorance! Their eyes are closed, and they cannot see, their minds are shut, and they cannot think. The person who made the idol never stops to reflect, why it’s just a block of wood! I burned half of it for heat and used it to bake my bread and roast my meat. How can the rest of it be a god? Should I bow down to worship a piece of wood? The poor, deluded fool feeds on ashes. He trusts something that can’t help him at all. Yet he cannot bring himself to ask, is this idol that I’m holding in my hand a lie?”
