Prophetic Voice Title: Bitterness
Bitterness springs up in our hearts. You might say to yourself, “I should not be angry at that person, but even though I handed that person to the Lord, I still can’t forgive them.” Did you really hand over that person to the Lord? No! Because if you did you would not have resentment towards that person.
SAINTS: The Lord will show you where He took you from, but He will not allow your past to sting you.
“My Dear Children, I see you in the corner sulking. Instead of sulking and showing resentment towards that person, Why aren’t you seeking Me for advice? That is right, you will not seek Me, because you think I wouldn’t understand, and your afraid I might take too long to answer you.
Your smile tells it all. It is not a smile it is a smirk. Expressions tell it all. You might say to someone ‘I’m so happy for you.’ But you are really not. You feel that since you believe in Me, that is a godly thing to say. Without realizing it, you are sinning. How could you say you are happy for them when you really don’t mean it?
Many don’t like to be refer to being bitter. You say, ‘I am not bitter I am just upset.’ Why should you be upset with others because they wronged you, told lies about you, they got a promotion. When anyone wrongs or insults or causes strife to my love ones, I intervene in their behalf. I know you don’t want to wait until I intervene. You want Me to intervene that very moment. At times I do intervene instantly and other times I wait so you can talk to Me and realize I will take care of the situation.
Too many of My children are inpatient. They take actions into their own hands; they say, ‘ I will repent after I say and do what I have to. What! Is that the devil talking to you and saying, ‘God understands take action now?’ Wrong! Let me take control and see how I can take a bad situation and turn it around for your benefit. Don’t let bitterness control you, says the Lord.”
Hebrews 12:15 “Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.”
1 Corinthians 10:13 “The temptations in your life are no different what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.”
Ephesians 4:26-27 “And don’t sin by letting anger control you. Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry. For anger gives a foothold to the devil.”
