Prophetic Voice Title: Bribing God
There are people that bribe God by going to church and volunteer, not because of their love for God, but because they hope God will bless them in return. The number one thing God desires is your obedience and love for Him. You could never out-do God. You can give to the poor and donate money to help them, but if you are doing it to be recognize, that does not work!
SAINTS: Seek God for every aspect of your life, and have him be number one in your life, and you will prosper in every aspect of your life.
“My Dear Children Why do you think you can bribe Me? You can bribe people but not your Creator. I see this frequent by My children. My children that tell me how much they love Me, and want to do My will, and yet are as far away from me as the East is from the West. Why is that? Could it be that you are wrapped up in the secular world, and allowing the temptation of this world control you? Some of you have family members that don’t believe in me, they will say and do anything to turn you away from Me. You see leaders trying to bribe people so they can get their vote. You see doctors write out prescriptions for medication you don’t need, so your insurance company will pay them. You should know better! When is the last time you dusted the cover off your Bible and meditated on My word? Was it that long ago that you can’t remember? Bribing gets you nowhere. It only causes division in your family, with your love ones; and your love diminishes from Me, says the Lord.”
Proverbs 21:14 “A secret gift calms anger; a bribe under the table pacifies fury.”
Proverbs 21:27 “The sacrifice of an evil person is detestable, especially when it is offered with wrong motives.”
1 Samuel 15:22-23 “What is more pleasing to the Lord: Your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to His voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of the rams, and stubbornness as bad as worshiping idols. So, because you have rejected the command of the Lord, He has rejected you as king.”
Jeremiah 7:24-28 “But My people would not listen to Me. They kept doing whatever they wanted, following the stubborn desires of their evil hearts. They went backward instead of forward. From the day your ancestors left Egypt until now, I have continued to send My servants, the prophets-day in and day out. But My people have not listened to Me or even tried to hear. They have been stubborn and sinful-even worse than their ancestors. Tell them all this, but do not expect them to listen. Shout out your warnings, but do not expect them to respond. Say to them, ‘this is the nation whose people will not obey the Lord their God and who refuse to be taught. Truth has vanished from among them’ it is no longer heard on their lips.”
Hebrews 10:10 “For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time”
Psalm 51:16-17 “You do not desire a sacrifice, or I would offer one. You do not want a burnt offering. The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart. O God.”
