Prophetic Voice Title: Damage the Tongue Can Do
It is easy to say things you don’t mean if someone insults you. It is important to control the tongue. The tongue can be full of bitterness, jealousy, selfishness, evil and the list goes on and on. If you are driving and someone cuts in front of you, it is easy for vulgar words to come out of your mouth.
SAINTS: As Christians we have to think before we talk. We have to be a good example. And not for someone to say “You call yourself a Christian and this the way you talk.” It is important to let the holy spirit guide us. When you are talking to someone and you see they are angry, right then and there, is for you to ask God to guide the words that come out of your mouth.

“My Dear Children I made you in My image. Many of you call Me Abba Father, and have a filthy mouth. You cause division between others. Yelling and cursing at your spouse and children. What! You expect Me to answer your prayers. What happen to My children? They know I love them. What happen to wisdom I gave you? Wisdom to be tolerate, considerate and loving to others. Is that too much to ask of you? It is so important to learn how to tame your tongue. The Holy Spirit abides in My children. The holy spirit will help you learn self-control. The holy spirit will increase the power to control what we say. The Spirit will help us not to lash out.
I look around and I see so much bitterness in the world. I see leaders that hold high office, and they leash out at people that disagree with them. They make stories up about them that is not true; they have a short-temper. They are trying to lead the country with an evil tongue. They cause division among the people. The people strike out against others that don’t agree with them. This is how the world is now! Even children are short-tempered and taking it out on their peers.
My dear children I want you to be a shining light to others. If you cannot control your tongue; eventually you will fade away from Me, says the Lord.”
James 3:2 “We all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.”
James 3:6-10 “The tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison. Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!”
Proverbs 15:4 “Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.”
