Prophetic Voice Title: Sin, is Like Cancer, has a Way of growing if Unchecked
If someone is untruthful, they lie, if they lie they are sinning. There are some that think a little lie is not sin. They don’t want to use the word sin. But technically, they are sinning. Just because you are a Christian it does not mean that you don’t sin. If someone tells you that they are not feeling well, and you say: “I will keep you in prayer.” If you don’t pray for them, that is sin! Lets’ say you are driving down the highway, and someone cuts you off, that moment you might curse or start to yell at that person. That is sin! As soon as we realize what is happening, that is the time to check ourselves and repent.
SAINTS: Remember: Action speaks louder than words.
“My Dear Children don’t make promises that you cannot keep. There are some that same to Me, “If only I can make more money at my job, I will give you tithe. I can’t give you tithe now, because I have to pay bills.” What! If you don’t trust Me now, what is to say you will trust Me after you get a raise? You won’t! It does not make a difference how much you earn. The more you make the more you spend. You forget about Me. I look at the persons heart. Some say, “If you heal Me, I will follow you the rest of my days.” They get healed, they are back to their old self. Being untruthful leads to destruction. You cannot have a relationship with Me if you want to bargain with Me. You are fooling yourself. Any way you look at it, you are sinning. Before you know it, it is blown out of proportion; you are affecting everyone around you. That does cause division in your personal life as well as in the workplace. The only one that can change you, is you. I only can change you by showing you the light, but if you keep leaving spiritual blinders on your eyes you will live in darkness, says the Lord.”
Luke 22:55-62 “The guards lit a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat around it, and Peter joined them there. A servant girl noticed him in the firelight and began staring at him. Finally she said, ‘This man was one of Jesus followers.’ But Peter denied it. Woman he said, ‘I don’t even know him!’ After a while someone else looked at him and said, ‘You must be one of them!’ ‘No man, I’m not!’ Peter retorted. About an hour later someone else insisted, ‘This must be one of them, because he is a Galilean, too.’ But Peter said, ‘Man, I don’t know what you are talking about.’ And immediately while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. At that moment the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Suddenly, the Lord’s words flashed through Peter’s mind. Before the rooster crows’ tomorrow morning, you will deny Me three times that you even know me. And Peter left the courtyard, weeping bitterly.”
James 5:12 “But most of all, my brothers and sisters, never take an oath, by heaven or earth or anything else. Just say a simple yes or no, so that you will not sin and be condemned.”
