Prophetic Voice Title: Who Bears Your Burdens?
There are at times our burdens are more than we can bear, and wonder how we can go on. There are some that get so stress, and turn to alcohol and drugs. I am talking about Christians. Wait a second; what about God? Oh, you say you don’t want to bother God. God wants to bear our burdens. It is time to realize that God is interested in every aspect of your life.
SAINTS: God wants to see all, not some, but all His children spend eternity with Him. Don’t buy into the enemies lie.
“My Dear Children did you forget about Me? Some of you have. You are so wrapped up in your problems that you are Having a pity party for yourself. If you invite Me in, I can ease your pain. Oh, I forgot, you don’t want to trouble Me. Did you forget what I did for My servant Job? His ten children were feasting together, and a powerful wind hit the house and all his children died. Job’s three friends came to visit him since he lost his children, his animals, everything owned. They assumed that Job did something to anger Me and that is why that happened. Little did they know that I told Satan he can test him but cannot harm him physically. My servant Job did not sin and blame Me. His friends were condemning him. My servant David had many enemies, being King, many were out to destroy him. My servant Moses had much burdens on his shoulder, but he trusts Me. I used him to rescue My people from Egypt, who were in slavery. Job, David and Moses are just a few that carried many burdens. But I lifted the burdens off their shoulders. They trusted Me. Yet, you do nothing but complain. Come to Me and I will lift the burdens off your shoulder, says the Lord.”
Job 1:8-12 “The Lord asked Satan, ‘Have you noticed My servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless-a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.’ Satan replied to the Lord, ‘Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God. You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is! But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!’ All right you may test him, the Lord said to Satan. Do whatever you want with everything he possesses but don’t harm him physically.”
Job 1:18-22 A messenger arrived with this news: ‘Your sons and daughters were feasting in their oldest brothers’ home. Suddenly, a powerful wind swept in from the wilderness and hit the house on all sides. The house collapsed, and all your children are dead. I am the only one who escaped to tell you.’ Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. He said, I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!’ In all this Job did not sin by blaming God.”
Exodus 3:11-12 “Moses protested to God, ‘Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?’ God answered; I will be with you. This is your sign that I am the one who sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God at this very mountain.”
Psalm 13:1-5 “O Lord, how long will you forget me? Forever? How long will you look the other way? How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand? Turn and answer me, O lord my God! Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die. Don’t let my enemies gloat, saying: ‘We have defeated him!’ Don’t let them rejoice at my downfall. But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me.”
Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you. Let Me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
