Prophetic Voice Title: Wisdom
Wisdom is to have the ability to make sensible decisions. Good sense shown in a way of thinking, judgment or action.
I know quite a few people that claim to have wisdom because they are walking with the Lord. When people are too sure of themselves that is when the problem starts. I have been walking with the Lord over 30 years and everyday I ask the Lord for wisdom, knowledge and discernment. The reason why I ask each day is because we don’t know what the day is going to bring. It is so important to have all three: wisdom, knowledge and discernment. I cannot begin to tell you how often a situation occurs when I least expect it. I thank the Lord for giving me discernment, knowledge & wisdom I need at that moment.
SAINTS: I cannot stress my point enough; stay in His Word; pray each day. Don’t allow distractions to prevent you from praying to the Lord each day. Don’t make excuses!
“My Dear Children I never said walking with Me would be easy or you would not have to make choices. True servants of mind know that each day to consult Me when they get up and for Me to give them wisdom so they would not fall into the enemies trap.
Everyone of My prophets and My twelve disciples were tested; My Son Jesus Christ was being tempted by Satan. Why do you think you are above them? I treat all My children equally. If you seek Me for wisdom you would not feel inadequate. I will give you the ability to make the right decisions. Some fail because they go ahead of Me. They think they know what I am going to say, and bail them out when they make foolish mistakes. I do allow you to fall, so you can get up, seek Me and use the wisdom I instill in you.
I created you not to fail but for you to rise up and be a shining light for Me, says the Lord.”
Proverbs 1:5-7 “Let the wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. Let those with understanding receive guidance by exploring the meaning in these proverbs and parables, the words of the wise and their riddles. Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.”
Proverbs 4:5-7 “Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them. Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.”
James 1:5-8 “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.”
Job 28:27-28 “Then He saw wisdom and evaluated it. He set it in place and examined it thoroughly. And this is what He says to all humanity; ‘The fear of the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding.”
