Prophetic Voice Title: Witnessing
Is it easy to witness to unbelievers? Absolutely not! Many will not witness to others because they are afraid of rejection or if it is family members they are afraid of family feud.
Both my parents are Jewish. I waited two years before I witness to them. I needed to be grounded in the Word. I was in my 30’s when I became a Born-Again Christian. I had a lot to learn. The Lord put me with a Christian brother and sister to witness to me. Neither one knew each other, but the Lord knew that I had to be with grounded Christians. Than it took seven years after I witness to them for them to except Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Wow! Dad was 83 and mom 78 years old when they excepted Jesus. They died seven months apart that same year.
SAINTS: Don’t give up. Don’t take the attitude “They will never change.” Remember: You were once lost too.
“My Dear Children did I give you a spirit of Fear? Of cause not! If I gave you a spirit of fear, how could you do the work I call you to do? You would be a nervous wreck. I expect you to fear Me; to do what is right, but not to fear rejection. Many become their own gods. They will do anything for attention or to get ahead in their career. Those are the people that need Me. That is why I need you to witness to them. Many are your own family members. The harvest is ripe, and it needs to be plow. I do not expect you to do it all. I ask you to plant the seed. After you plant the seed I expect you to step aside. I will use someone else to water the seed. The seed needs to be planted deep within…The results are not always in your time frame but in My time frame. That is why I have you step aside after the seed is planted. When the seed starts to flourish than I get the harvest. I might use you to water the seed, since the seed was already planted. My children; IT IS IMPORTANT YOU DON’T FEAR REJECTION. If I feel you cannot witness for Me I will use someone else. I will not stop loving you. I ask for you to abide in Me, says the Lord.”
John 4:34-38 Jesus explained, My nourishment comes from doing the will of God who sent Me, and from finishing His work. You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, ‘Wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest.’ The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike! You know the saying, ‘One plants and another harvests.’ And it’s true. I sent you to harvest where you didn’t plant; others had already done the work, and now you will get to gather the harvest.”
John 3:16-21 “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light, so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”
Revelation 3:20-21 “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear My voice and open the door I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with Me on My throne, just as I was victorious and sat with My Father on His throne.”
