Prophetic Voice Title: Wrong Desires
The will of the Holy Spirit is in opposition to our sinful desires. The two are on opposite sides of the spiritual battle.
SAINTS: The holy spirit fights our battles. That is why it is important every morning to ask the Lord to guide and protect us. It is impossible to do it on your own.
“My Dear Children, I never said that you would be exempt from trials and tribulations. Even My prophets and disciples wet through trials and tribulations. Wrong desires come when you doubt Me. When you think you have not heard from Me, because I did not answer you in your timetable. Whose timetable is important to you? If I answered in your timetable and it was not My will for you, you would regret it. I know what is best for every child of mine. Too many feel it is there way and will not confide in Me. That is when reality sets in. Wrong desires will manifest in you. If wrong desires stay in you, then the holy spirit cannot abide in you. If you have sinful desires like adultery, drunkenness, bitterness, jealousy and evil desires, then you need the holy spirit to guide and mold you. That cannot happen until you surrender all to Me, says the Lord.”
Galatians 2:20 “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me. So, I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 5:22-26 “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.”
John 15:4-6 “Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in Me. Yes, I am the vine you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in Me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.”
1 Corinthians 10:13 “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.”
